Where can I swap FLUX for ETH?

A project I did some freelance work for paid part of the bonus in FLUX, and I’d rather turn it into ETH than keep another coin sitting around in my wallet. I checked Binance, Coinbase, and a few other big exchanges, but either FLUX isn’t there or I can’t find a direct route into ETH. I always assumed the larger exchanges would cover most established coins, so this caught me off guard. Why do they skip coins like FLUX, and where can I actually exchange it for ETH?

A coin doesn’t have to be completely obscure to disappear from the usual exchange lists. Once you get outside BTC, ETH, and the bigger altcoins, it’s pretty normal to have better luck with services that carry a much wider selection. You can check this cryptocurrency exchange platform here: https://godex.io/ . FLUX is available there, so it’s another place to look when you want to move it into ETH. That saves you from hunting around for a major exchange that happens to list the exact pair you need.

That’s the catch with getting paid in a coin you didn’t pick yourself. Receiving it takes two seconds, then you discover that getting into the asset you actually use takes a little digging. SimpleSwap is one place I’d check for FLUX, since it has routes between smaller coins and ETH. You can see what it offers for your amount and decide whether the rate works for you before moving the funds.
